Jane and Carter - 3 stars

I have to say, I loved the covers on these books, BUT I get royally ticked when an author breaks a normal sized book into two or three parts. I feel like it is done just so they can charge more money, which is sad. The only good thing is that all three parts were released on the same day, so if you want to buy all of them at one time you can. Like many others, I like a fast moving storyline, but let's be real—being promoted to the CEO's personal assistant after two days of working for the company is waaaayyyyy too unbelievable. Also needs improvement in grammatical matters.

It's a good read, hot and steamy, but has a cliffhanger. Plus, she seems a little bit too obsessed with having a baby to me, I understand that's what the book is about, but just seems a little overwhelming to me. Other than that it is a good. Hopefully if you read all of the books in a row it would be better.

Interesting book although its a cliff hanger. Fresh out of college and good with numbers Jane lands a job working for Carter at his company. Soon he promotes her after she finds a flaw with one of the reports. After a hot encounter with the boss will she be the lucky one to carry his baby? Like I said it end in a cliffhanger
I wasn't sure about the title of this book but I'm guessing it's accurate. I can't say for sure because the ending was a cliffhanger and the reader is left at the beginning of the relationship the Monday after they had sex. It's pretty much like you would expect if you have a one night stand with your boss. I thought for a smart girl that was the stupidest move ever. Duh. If you want to find out how it ends you'll have to get the next book.

This is the first part of a series and it is a short, quick read with a cliffhanger. Jane recent college grad met Carter hot CEO when Jane started working for his company. Events unfold that had Jane working as his assistant and the story goes from there. The characters had strong chemistry from what I have read and can't wait to find out what happens next.

This one was okay for me. There really isn't a storyline here and I'm really having a hard time relating to Jane. The plot is lacking. All Jane can focus on is having a baby with Carter. Carter doesn't appear to be a "stand up guy" based on what I've read. The characters aren't well-developed. I will keep reading to see if these authors make improvements along the way and to see what happens in the storyline.
This is the first book I've read by this author and I thought it was good. It is book one and it does end in a cliffhanger. It's a short story that takes a little over an hour to read. Jane and Carter have an interesting relationship. He's her boss and this is her first job out of college. Their interactions are professional at times but also slightly unprofessional at others. They seem like they have an attraction one minute but then not the next. There were some things that seemed a little unrealistic or exaggerated but it was still good. I will be reading book two to see what happens next.

This is a pleasant short story, but you will need to read the series to get the whole tale.

Jane has a new job at Winthrow Financial. She spots a mistake in a financial report and points it out to her immediate boss. She is astounded to her him claim that he found the error to the big boss, Carter Winthrow. However, Carter tells her that he knows she found the error, and he promotes her to working with him. Jane is attracted to Carter and she starts to dream of having his baby. Are they going to get together?

I enjoyed the story, but I felt it was very light, with little depth to the characters.
