Like most, I have a hectic life and rarely feel in balance with my life. This books helps me start each month with a positive outlook and I plan each week to ensure that I am reaching life goals. This isn't a planner to help you run your errands more efficiently or execute work projects. Rather, it is a way to help me ground an already busy lifestyle. Using the workbook helps me plan ways that will "make me laugh" or make me think of "what I'm grateful for." I like that it makes me slow down and make time for wellness and positive energy in my life. I sit down each week with this planner and figure out where I need to clear clutter in my home and in my life. I plan fresh flowers for a corner of my house I want to energize, clean out an area that is littered with papers and junk, or just rethink a sunny corner to maximize the good energy coming in. This book does not provide Feng Shui almanac information. I use internet and reference books for that. This is a workbook that helps you APPLY Feng Shui principles to your life.Since using this planner, I've been better at taking care of myself. Starting my week thinking about my personal goals forces me to book a yoga class, make lunch plans with an old friend, or even just a nature hike with my son. It's a few minutes each week to think about where my life is stagnant, where it needs my focus, and what I'm going to do about it. It also makes me stop to think big about what my goals and dreams are. These are all things we try to do, but they often get pushed back as life's demands pressure you to "get things done."
The book is beautifully laid out, with clean graphics, and inspirational quotes and images. It's absolutely worth it if you like to follow Feng Shui practices and apply them to your life.
