This is a great pamphlet sized book to help one identify negative self-image issues and replace it with Kingdom Truth. I mentor women and was pleased with much of what this book shared. I have a few theological differences in terminology used, but that is perhaps more doctrinal with SDA affiliations of the author. I also felt some of the statements were mystical rather than Biblical. Overall, I was expecting more, but found this a nice, quick, feel good read.

When President Uchtdorf gives a talk or writes a book, members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints know they're being given counsel from the Lord through one of His living Prophets! The Remarkable Soul of a Woman is a very tender praise of a worthy woman. It also counsels women how to be a little better because God knows the power of the mother in a family.
Another one of Elder Uchtdorf's books that inspire when you need it. Women and men are so different and this is a book that can enlighten what is so special about women. Another good book to read.
This wonderful little book reminds us that we are special servants of Heavenly father no matter what stage of life we are at present time. We each have something of great value to offer to others. It doesn't have to be magnificent, but small acts of kindness,love and concern at just the right time can make a great difference in someone's circumstances and mental outlook. Our talents are often different and can be,just what is needed at a particular time.
I enjoyed this little book and read it often. Recommend to any woman no matter her age or position in life

It reminds me of how blessed I am to have this remarkable woman as my wife through all eternity; the little girls we raised who became remarkable mothers, wives, and career women; and the tough-as-nails mom who raised me to always strive to be something better each day.
I more or less liked the book, it had many helpful tips about growing spiritually and a lot of insights about how women feel and think, but I must say I didn't like it when some parts of scripture were quoted and there were bible books I've never read, it was confusing, because some of the verses I know, but were said in a different way, until the end when it said Dieter F. Uchtdorf was the president of the Church of God of the latter day Saints, then it hit me, it was not the Christian King James Bible he quoted but the book of mormon, or whatever other book he used.
I can’t get enough reminders of the importance of simple acts of service. Too often I hold back compliments, too often I don’t step in to help so as to not put people off. I need to serve more! To create more! Id recommend this short book is recommend to anyone.
This book wasn't what I expected. When I first read Deseret Books' description of the book, I thought it was an expansion on the topic that Pres. Uchtdorf had presented during a General Relief Society conference. When I started reading the book, I realized that the book was, in fact, just a very pretty version of the talk he had shared - no more, no less. I was initially a little disappointed, but as I read, I remembered how wonderful the talk was and was suddenly very glad I had a copy of this talk in such a portable, good-looking format. I plan to keep this next to my bed now for those times when I need inspiration, when I need counsel, and when I need to be reminded how remarkable and wonderful it is to be a woman. People who have read this book should also read It Really IS a Wonderful Life
